HITV, Nigeria’s Pay TV platform will be showing live and exclusive to its viewers at this year’s Redeemed Christian Church of God’s (RCCG) 59th Annual Convention tagged ‘With Wings Like An Eagle’, scheduled to hold from Monday, August 8 through Sunday, August 14, at the Redemption Camp.
The Company is also setting up shop at the camp premises throughout the duration of the convention to avail Christian faithful of its world class content and services. According to Kemi Fashina, HiTV’s Brand/Marketing Manager, “HiTV’s Dove Vision channel will be showing activities at the 59th Annual Convention live and exclusive. Everything that would be happening from August 8 through 14 will be watched real time on HiTV. This is what we do yearly for our subscribers, but this year, we are going a bit farther by setting up a real Customer Care/Sales and Service outfit, literally, HiTV is moving into Redeemed Camp.”

She revealed that HiTV would give a huge discount on its offering to people who would stop by at its mini office to make a purchase of either the Premium or Correct Bouquet package. The price would be discounted, so at N18, 500, a subscriber would get a complete system, installation and two months premium subscription free! “A raffle draw would be held on the last day of the convention where many people would go home with amazing prizes such as refrigerators and TV sets”, she added.
Fashina further revealed that the company is not leaving its Muslims viewers out in the cold at this most important period of the year for them- the yearly Ramadan fast scheduled to begin on July 31. “For the whole month that the fast will last, HiTV’s platform will be showing soul-inspiring Moslem programmes on TVC, Amuludun and Viasat History. ‘Ramadan Kareem’ on TVC and Amuludun is a must watch programme because it will feature prominent Muslim scholars who will discuss issues of great importance to the average Muslim. It will hold in the morning, midday as well as in the evening, daily for 30 days,” Fashina said.
